MusclePharm Partners with United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine

In the midst of many new initiatives and product launches, including the release of our plant-based Natural Series, we are thrilled and honored to announce that we have entered into a collaborative partnership with United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM).

The focus of this partnership is to formulate and produce a powder supplement tailored to meet the specific needs of the special tactics airman in combat. While the supplement is currently still in the testing stages with the Exercise Physiology Research Team at USAFSAM, our goal is to enhance energy, performance, and cognition during missions in extreme conditions. Due to limited amount of packing space and resources available during sustained missions in the field, this supplement is designed to be stored and consumed from the convenience of a CamelBak® hydration system.

Heading this project is MusclePharm’s Senior Research and Development Manager, Paul Falcone. As the head of the MusclePharm Sports Science Institute, he supervises both in-house research and studies conducted at prestigious universities, which play a major role in how MusclePharm continues to innovate. Additionally, due to his expertise in product development and professional athlete development, it made sense that Paul would be leading this initiative along with Dr. Reginald O’Hara of the Air Force Research Laboratory’s 711th Human Performance Wing.

As a company rooted in research and development, we are privileged to be at the forefront of this unique collaboration between MusclePharm and our military personnel. The performance and safety of those serving our country have been the highest priority throughout this partnership, and we are excited to deliver a strategically designed formula to support the men and women of the United States Air Force.
