Oatmeal is a great fat burner and easy to cook, though it's important to pay attention to the different brands because some have high sugar content.
Another great fat burning food is the old fashioned chicken breast. When purchasing, make sure the breasts have minimal fat. Breasts are usually the leanest, that's why I always look for them first.
Egg whites are also great for dieting and losing weight, plus an egg typically contains about six to seven grams of protein.
Good old brown rice is a slow, starchy carbohydrate and proven fat burner. If you're eating brown rice, consume your meal no later than the afternoon. If you eat during the evening, especially late at night, more of these carbs could store as fat. Fish oils, ÂÂÂespecially Omega 3, ramp up fat burning during your day-to-day activities.
And lastly, a great fat burning food is asparagus. Before a photo-shoot or competition, I eat asparagus when I need a natural diuretic to rid my body of the last water deposits. The chemical asparagines in asparagus is an alkaloid that directly affects the cells and breaks down fat. And removing waste from the body also reduces fat levels.
There are so many exercises you can do training at home. To work the chest and triceps, try basic push-ups. Chair dips also work these muscles. For your abs, you can do sit-ups anywhere, your living room or bedroom or wherever works best. Jumping rope when you're at home brings a great cardiovascular workout. Doing this for 30 minutes burns more than 300 calories. Walking lunges work your hamstrings, glutes and quads, and you can do them inside your house or out. You can also do squats with your own body-weight to work these same muscles. And lastly calf-raises are simple and really work your calves. These are all exercises you can collectively do on the days you can't go to the gym.
